What is a Wiki?

A Wiki is an interactive website that allows you, the student, to contribute to the content.
It is a place for respectfully sharing ideas and opinions on specific topics.

Select Reading Olympics titles from the menu on the left.
You can preview books by reading the brief summaries.
The summaries are color-coded based on the reading level of the book: RED=challenging, BLUE=average, BLACK=basic
Once you have completed reading a book from the list, feel free to add your appropriate comments or opinions.

Select the "Discussion" tab at the top of the book page.
To reply to another member's comment on a book, click on the blue link with the title.
- When the Reply box appears, enter your school's initials followed by your comment in the Message area.
- For example: WD - I thought the characters reminded me of my family on vacation.
If you are starting a new discussion for a book, go to the "Post Message" section at the bottom of the discussion page.
- Enter your school's initials and the title on the Subject line, then add your comment in the Message area.
- For example: Subject WD Lightning Thief
When you have completed typing your comment, select the "Post" button in the bottom right corner.
Keep in mind all comments and opinions written on this Wiki can be viewed by the public.
